This yearly festival is a favourite by tourists, not only because of the ambience created by the light of the candles but also because of the different concerts that take place.

So this weekend in Guaro you can findlots of leisure, cultural and even gastronomic activities as well as markets in which you can purchase different artisan products.

Music is also a major feature of the festival which is being held this weekend again in Guaro. Tonight, Nina Pastori appears while Pasión Vega and Dúo del Valle will be performing on Saturday 13th, as part of the concert programme for this increasingly prestigious event. All of these concerts will take place in the Luna Mora auditorium.

The programme in Guaro for this weekend includes numerous events to suit all tastes and ages. Children will particularly enjoy the workshops, which include drawing with candles, dance and artisan games, which will take place this evening and tomorrow evening once the sun has set in this village in the Sierra de las Nieves.

Other activities have been organised for adults, such as natural henna and oriental dance, among others. Street processions, storytelling and small concerts in the local cultural centre will complete a full agenda of activities, all of which take place around the market which has been set up in the main streets. These very special evenings officially begin when the thousands of candles are lit to illuminate the streets of the village centre.

This is a good way to discover this remarkable vilage which boast an important architectural heritage.
